 When you buy a private Kubernetes cluster, you always order at least 2 nodes. A node is a server as we know them in de VM world and several nodes make up the Kubernetes cluster. A cluster has to have at least 2 nodes in order to be highly available. In the nodes run pods. Pods are self-contained computational units. A pod typically contains one Docker container. When creating the pod you can specify how much CPU and RAM the pod can use.
