Domino's Pizza is using a Liferay-application for supplying its stores with Pizza-ingredients. This application serves all European Domino's stores 24 hours 7 days a week.
Having this application running 24/7 is of vital importance. Especially at days that at lot of people order pizza's (and a lot of ingredients are needed), Domino's wants to rely on a stable infrastructure.
Proteon therefore provided Domino's pizza with Liferay Managed Hosting and both an Acceptance and Production environment. Software releases can now safely take place first at the Acceptance environment without tainting the Production environment.
