To experience Liferay 6 yourself, we provide a standard Liferay 6 instance that you can sign up to for free.

When first visiting you will see the registration page where you can create an account for yourself. The password will be e-mailed to you. After you log in you will see the Liferay demo home page. On the right you will find the 'Current Users' portlet with which you can assume the role of one of 4 different users:

  • Admin
  • Publisher
  • Editor
  • User

This way you can experience the options of the different user profiles. Have fun exploring Liferay 6!

We provide this Liferay 6 instance for free. Anybody can sign up and manage content and portlets. This also means that anyone can potentially break the Portal. Therefore each night the portal's contents and configuration is reset. If you log in and the instance looks garbled try again tomorrow or contact us to obtain your own private instance.
