Proteon opened an office in Córdoba, Argentina

On the 24th of September 2007, Proteon Development opened a second office in Córdoba, Argentina. A Dutch software developer wil manage a team of Argentinean developers to work exclusively on software projects of Proteon Development in The Netherlands.

Córdoba is the second large city of Argentina with more than one million inhabitants. It is the industrial centre of the country, with the presence of many (international) companies. Besides there are about 100,000 students studying at the different universities of the city. Because of the little popularity of Closed Source software in Argentina, especially due to the high costs, many Argentinean software developers are highly specialized in Open Source technology.

With the opening of this office managed by a Dutch employee, Proteon aims to improve its high standards of quality, service and managability even more.
